PLYMOUTH, Mich. — Plymouth-area voters now have nine days to cast a ballot in person before the Nov. 3 general election, after early voting opened Saturday, Oct. 24.
Plymouth Township runs its early voting center at Township Hall, 9955 North Haggerty Road, with doors open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day through Sunday, Nov. 1, according to the township clerk. Michigan voters approved the nine-day early voting window in 2022.
Residents of the City of Plymouth have a separate early voting site and can confirm it through the state voter information website or by calling the city clerk at 734-453-1234.
Voters who already have absentee ballots can return them to two secure township drop boxes, one at Township Hall and one at the public works recycling center at 46555 Port St. The online deadline to request an absentee ballot is 5 p.m. Friday, Oct. 30.
On Election Day, polling places open at 7 a.m. and close at 8 p.m. The township clerk will also keep its office open on Saturday, Oct. 31, for voters who need help.
