DETROIT, Mich. — The Plymouth Wildcats’ playoff run lasted one night. Cass Tech rolled to a 55-13 win Friday in an MHSAA district semifinal at Cass Tech High School in Detroit, closing out Plymouth’s football season.
Plymouth made the 7 p.m. trip to Detroit as the road team, but the Wildcats could not keep pace with a Technicians team that has not lost all year. The 13 points were the fewest Plymouth had put up in any game this fall.
For Cass Tech, the win stretched its unbeaten season and sends the Technicians back home next Friday, when they will host Fordson in the district final.
Plymouth has no further games on its schedule. The Wildcats represent Plymouth High School, part of the Plymouth-Canton school community, and the loss closes the book on the Wildcats’ 2026 fall season.
