NOVI, Mich. — Novi shoppers at Twelve Oaks can spend the weekend inside Michigan’s first Dick’s House of Sport as the store stages a formal Friday-to-Sunday launch after soft opening in late October.
The stop fills about 100,000 square feet at 27600 Twelve Oaks Mall Road on the lower level of the old Sears shell that closed in 2019. Celebration days are Nov. 6 through Nov. 8.
Friday’s slate starts with a Chris Webber ribbon moment at 8:45 a.m. and later lists Amon-Ra St. Brown from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Sunday puts Bryce Underwood on the floor from noon to 1 p.m. for photos only. Wristbands for the St. Brown and Underwood windows are limited and handed out at opening that day; the Webber stop needs none and will not include autographs.
Guests can test golf simulators, scale a climbing wall or take swings in a batting cage, then head outside to a turf field and track. A Collectors Clubhouse covers cards and memorabilia, and a House of Cleats wall shows hundreds of styles. Service desks handle golf clubs, bikes, racquets, gloves and skates.
Each morning, the first 100 adults in line may get a mystery gift card and the first 100 children a soccer ball while supplies last. Posted hours are 9-to-9 on weekdays and Saturdays, with Sunday open 10 a.m. until 7 p.m.
