ANN ARBOR, Mich. — Michigans opening availability sheet for Saturday nights Paul Bunyan Trophy game against Michigan State shows a mostly healthy roster, with one starter ruled out and five others tagged as questionable.

The Wolverines (5-3, 2-3 Big Ten) host the Spartans (2-6, 0-5) at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, on Peacock. Tackle Andrew Sprague will miss a seventh straight contest. The questionable group is safety Rod Moore, edge rushers John Henry Daley and Dom Nichols, offensive lineman Brady Norton and tight end Hogan Hansen. Center Jake Guarnera is probable as he manages a lower-body issue.

Coach Kyle Whittingham said this week he expects both starting edge players available. Daley and Nichols warmed up but stayed off the field in the 28-21 win at Rutgers. Moore logged only six snaps against Indiana and sat out Rutgers after limited work following an ankle problem against Penn State.

Hansen spoke Tuesday about stacking healthy practice weeks after sitting out the first two games. Michigan has won the last four meetings with Michigan State. After Saturday the Wolverines visit Oregon on Nov. 14, then host UCLA and travel to Ohio State to finish the regular season.
