# Ski Swap, Santa Parade Fill November Calendar in Plymouth

PLYMOUTH, Mich. — Downtown Plymouth shifts into holiday mode over the next four weeks, starting with a ski and snowboard swap this weekend and building to the Santa parade the day after Thanksgiving.

The swap runs at The Gathering on Saturday, Nov. 7, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 8, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sun and Snow organizes it and returns for a second round on Dec. 5 and 6.

Shops stay open late for the Ladies Holiday Shopping Night on Thursday, Nov. 12, from 4 to 8 p.m., run by the Plymouth Community Chamber of Commerce. The next evening, Nov. 13, the Salvation Army Plymouth Corps opens its Red Kettle season along with the lighting of the Main Street boulevard near Kellogg Park. The City Commission signed off on both events, along with the Walk of Trees in Kellogg Park.

Santa arrives Friday, Nov. 27. The parade winds through several city parks beginning at 6 p.m. and finishes at Kellogg Park, where the tree is lit at 8:15 p.m. A Christmas farmers market follows on Saturday, Nov. 28, at The Gathering and Penniman Avenue from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
